WhiskyGuru is an independent whisky platform, on the web and as an iOS and Android app, where enthusiasts log what they drink, rate it, and check what a bottle costs before they buy. If you sell whisky, that last step is where we can send you customers.
Our catalogue already covers tens of thousands of bottlings, so the odds are your range is largely in there waiting to be priced.
What you get
- Buyers who already know which bottle they want and are only deciding where to order it.
- Your offer on the page for that exact bottle, next to the tasting notes and ratings people came for.
- Shops listed cheapest first, converted to a common currency. What we earn plays no part in the order, and we do not sell placement.
- Visitors filtered by shipping destination, so you are only shown to people you can actually deliver to.
What we need from you
A product feed, and that is about it. We match it to our catalogue on EAN rather than on product names. That matters: name matching puts a 12-year-old next to an 18-year-old and sends shoppers to the wrong bottle. Matching on barcode means every one of your offers lands on exactly the right page, or it is not shown at all.
- CSV and XML feeds in the common formats, so whatever you already export will almost certainly work as it is.
- We re-import daily, so prices and stock stay current without you doing anything.
- Offers we have not seen for a month hide themselves, so a delisted bottle never lingers on your name.
How we work together
We are set up on the main affiliate platforms and are happy to run a direct programme instead if you prefer. Tell us how you normally work with publishers and we will fit in with that. If you use a platform we are not on yet, let us know which one and we will apply.
